The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers undergraduate degree programs in three areas of study:ÌýElectrical Engineering (including honours),ÌýComputer EngineeringÌýandÌýSoftware Engineering. All programs provide students with a strong background in mathematics, basic sciences, and engineering science and design.

IEPE & the Enhanced Power Concentration

Students in the Electrical Engineering program are eligible for the Enhanced Power Concentration. This concentration allows students to take and participate inÌýindustry-sponsored courses, projects, internships and new employment opportunities in electrical power engineering. Supported by theÌýInstitute for Electrical Power Engineering (IEPE),Ìýan initiative of Hydro-Québec,Ìýstudents will have access to state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, and a point of contact between industry and universities involved in power engineering.
