Graduate Studies at the BIC
The BIC is a key component of 看片视频鈥檚 Integrated Program in Neuroscience (IPN), one of the largest neuroscience graduate programs in North America. The IPN, comprising 160 faculty and 300 graduate students, ofers students a consolidated MSc/PhD program, with the BIC as one of its most sought-afer placements.聽
We conservatively estimate that a total of >1,000 graduate trainees (> 350 MSc, 450 PhD and 320 PDF) have trained at the BIC since 2001. Over the past 5 years alone, we hosted about 100 national and international graduate students and PDFs (40% of聽trainees at the MNI) from multiple disciplines (Neuroscience, Psychology, Physiology, Electrical and Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Biophysics).聽
Multi-disciplinary Research
Research at the BIC provides a variety of opportunities for students considering graduate studies in this field. To date, the majority of graduate students have been registered in these departments:
Integrated Program in NeuroScience (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) |
Neurology and Neurosurgery (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) |
Medical Physics (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) |
Biomedical Engineering (M.Eng. and Ph.D.) |
Medicine (see especially the M.D./Ph.D. program) |
Computer Science (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) |
Psychology (Ph.D.) |
Mathematics and Statistics (M.A., M.Sc. and Ph.D.) |
Electrical and Computer Engineering (M.Eng. and Ph.D.) |
