Carly Berlin, MSW
Case Manager - Youth Team at Agence Ometz

Carly Berlin graduated from the 看片视频 University School of Social Work with an MSW in 2012, specializing in Children and Families. Her Independent Study Project focused on applying traditional attachment theory to the father-child relationship. Carly is currently a case manager on the youth team at Agence Ometz, a social services agency in the Montreal Jewish community. She works with teens and young adults aged 14-30 who come from families facing poverty, abuse, addiction, mental illness, etc. Carly uses a family-centred approach to work with her clients with the intention of breaking the intergenerational cycle of poverty that they often face.听

Riccardo Cordi, BA, BEd, MEd
Guidance Counsellor, EMSB

Riccardo has been working as a Guidance Counsellor with the English Montreal School Board (EMSB) since 2009. During this time he has worked at several different high schools, helping students through a variety of personal and academic issues. Prior to working as a Guidance Counsellor, he taught high school English and French for several years in both Montreal and in Vancouver. In addition, Riccardo currently works as a freelance translator and is a singer-songwriter.


Samantha Goldberg, M.A., c.o.

Samantha Goldberg is the Acting Senior Advisor of Residence Life in the Student Housing & Hospitality Services Department at 看片视频.听 In this role she oversees all of the community-building programming and support in Residence, from Floor Fellow training to Inter-residence competitions.听 Samantha came into this position with three years of counselling experience, having worked as a Career Counsellor at 看片视频鈥檚 CaPS and YES Montreal (Youth Employment Services), running workshops and providing individual counselling听related to job search and career exploration.听 Her educational background includes a B.Sc. in听Psychology and Biology听from Dalhousie University and an M.A. in Counselling Psychology from 看片视频.听Samantha also continues to run a small private counselling practice outside of her primary post at 看片视频.

Andrea Weaver, MA, OPQ
Psychologist, CLSC Lac-Saint-Louis

Andrea Weaver holds a Masters in Counselling Psychology from 看片视频 University (graduated 2008). Since 2011, she has worked as a Psychologist on the Adult Mental Health team at CLSC du Lac-Saint-Louis in the West Island providing individual therapy to clients with depression, anxiety, personality disorders among others. She also co-facilitates group therapy for Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Prior to this position, she was a clinical counsellor at Auberge Shalom pour femmes, a women`s shelter for victims of conjugal violence. She also volunteers on the Board of O3 (On Our Own), an organization in NDG that provides housing and programming for young, at-risk parents. Her previous career was as a Research Director for a marketing research consulting firm in Toronto.


Amanda Luterman, MA, MEd
Licensed Psychotherapist in private practice

Licensed Psychotherapist specialized in sexuality, Amanda works with individuals, couples, and all relationship configurations, to improve the quality of their sexuality and/or intimacy. She holds an MA/MEd in Psychological Counselling from Columbia University.


Arielle Gottesman, MSW, PSW
Social Worker at Cummings Centre for Seniors

Arielle Gottesman completed her BSW at 看片视频 University and her MSW at the University of Toronto. Arielle鈥檚 passion is working hand in hand with families.听 This has included: families fighting cancer, families coping with a mental health diagnosis, & families seeking refuge in Canada. Currently, Arielle is working at The Cummings Centre for Seniors where she supports Holocaust survivors and their families. Arielle is a case manager in the Homecare Department, responsible for the assessment and intervention planning of older adults experiencing a loss of autonomy.听 Arielle鈥檚 priority is to keep older adults living at home for as long as possible, while providing and overseeing the appropriate services to meet their needs. Arielle also provides support to family caregivers to avoid burnout. Arielle鈥檚 advice to aspiring professionals would be not to lose sight of the significance of self-care. It is essential to have an activity that allows you to de-stress and to leave work at work.

Meghan Atherton, M.A., c.o.
Career Advisor/Career Counsellor, Concordia University

Meghan听Atherton is a graduate of 看片视频鈥檚 Masters in Counselling Psychology program and a member of l鈥橭rdre des conseillers et conseill猫res d'orientation du Qu茅bec.听 She currently works as a Career Advisor at Concordia University where she meets with students one on one and in workshop settings to help them with career exploration, job search strategies, resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation and networking. In her role at Concordia Meghan also organizes career events on campus, including panel discussions, company information sessions, and networking events.听 Meghan also holds a B.A. in Psychology and a B.Ed. from the University of Victoria and spent several years working in education in B.C. before moving to Montreal to pursue her graduate studies. Areas of interest for Meghan include career development, career counselling and youth health and development.

George Reid, M.A., LLB, DLP

George is a Montreal psychotherapist in private practice, who trained in counselling psychology at 看片视频. He is also a British chartered psychologist and lawyer.

Nate Fuks PhD, MBA, MSc

Nate has completed his PhD in Counselling Psychology at 看片视频 He is also a course lecturer and a member of Coping and Resilience research laboratory at 看片视频 University, where his research revolves mostly around intersecting identities of double minority LGBTQ people. Nate is the founder and chair of Pride Psychotherapy Team and a psychologist at the Argyle, specializing in working with LGBTQ people, immigrants, refugees, and ethnic minorities. Prior to joining the Argyle, Nate pursued an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University, and has established himself in a number of challenging and evolving leadership roles, in both the public and private sector. He is fluent in four languages, and during his career was involved in a variety of international and multi-cultural ventures. Nate鈥檚 industry observations and experiences raised his awareness of the importance of newcomer and minority integration, and inspired his interest and ongoing involvement in both research, as well as community initiatives pertinent to these issues.
