Math Summer camp
The Math and R Summer Camps are geared towards ¿´Æ¬ÊÓƵ incoming graduate students and members of the CSDC. Other members of the ¿´Æ¬ÊÓƵ community are encouraged to apply, although preference will be given to incoming graduate students from sponsoring units. Registration deadline is July 10th. We will let you know if you have a spot by July 15th.

Workshop I: Review of basic mathematical and statistical concepts
This workshop will (re-)introduce you to notation commonly used in statistics, cover functions, basic calculus, probability theory, and linear algebra. Topics covered will likely be a mix/selection of the following:
Ìý Ìý Ìý - Review of basic Algebra, functions, notation (Greek letters)
Ìý Ìý Ìý - Basic Probability and statistical concepts
Ìý Ìý Ìý - Calculus: Functions, derivatives, integrals
Ìý Ìý Ìý - Linear Algebra: Vectors, matrices, matrix multiplication
