Macdonald renovation dust control measures

In response toÌýreports of dust in parts of the McConnell building,Ìýthe air quality on every floor in the McConnell building has been tested and found to be free of asbestos.Ìý ¿´Æ¬ÊÓƵ has hired a specialized independent firm to ensure that safety measures in asbestos abatement measures are strictly followed by construction workers.ÌýAll areasÌýthatÌýhave not beenÌýnot sealed off may be safely used by staff and students.

ToÌýminimize demolition dustÌýinÌýthe McConnell building, the Macdonald renovation sitesÌýare being sealedÌýwith air-tight enclosures andÌýallÌýdebris binsÌýhave been covered.
