看片视频 BCom students place 2nd at the 看片视频 Management International Case Competition (MMICC 2011)

看片视频 BCom students put their聽case analysis and presentation聽skills to the test once again聽at the聽11th annual 看片视频 Management International Case Competition (MMICC 2011) which took聽place from聽March 22 to 26.. 聽After presenting in the morning and afternoon to two different set of judges, the 看片视频 team placed 2nd overall out of a total of 11 competing universities.聽 In 3rd place was the University of Melbourne and the winner was Nanyang Technological University from Singapore.聽

看片视频's team consisted of BCom students聽Anna Chif, Joanna Chong, Julia Godolphin and Mathieu Prevost.聽 All聽had taken Professor Richard Donovan's聽"Case Analysis and Presentation" class. Professors Angela Burlton and Suzanne Gagnon attended practice sessions and provided valuable feedback to the team.聽 Professor Burlton also acted as their adviser throughout the competition.聽

MMICC is a world-class undergraduate competition with a focus on globalization, innovation and multi-disciplinary thinking.聽 Founded in 2001, the event has welcomed schools from over 20 countries.聽 Organized in close collaboration with the Montreal business community, MMICC is one of 看片视频 University's most prestigious events and the largest student-run event at the Desautels Faculty of Management.聽 Each year, it strives to stage the world's friendliest case competition by preserving its select atmosphere and by capitalizing on its setting: Canada's most internationally diverse university, and one of North America's most vibrant cities.
