Renowned space expert to deliver upcoming public lecture at 看片视频

Scott Hubbard, The Carl Sagan Chair at the Carl Sagan Centre for the Study of Life in the Universe at the SETI Institute in Mountain View, California, will deliver a public lecture on: 鈥淭he Challenges of Space Exploration: The Search for Life in the Universe.鈥

When: March 15, 2007, 5:30 p.m.

Who: G. Scott Hubbard, Former NASA administrator, now at the Carl Sagan Centre.

Where: Strathcona Anatomy and Dentistry Building, Room M-1, 3640 University Street, Montreal.

During his 16-year tenure at NASA, G. Scott Hubbard managed the successful Lunar Prospector, helped develop the discipline of astrobiology, conceived the Mars Pathfinder mission, served four years as director of the Ames Research Center and led the investigation into the space shuttle Columbia tragedy. He also holds a visiting scholar appointment at Stanford University.

This lecture is co-sponsored by the Departments of Earth & Planetary Sciences and Anatomy & Cell Biology with support from the Beatty Memorial Lectures Fund. The Beatty Memorial Lectures were established in 1952 to bring to 看片视频 and to Montreal outstanding international scholars, both to give public lectures and to spend time with faculty and students.
