DISE's Dr. Aziz Choudry will take part in a panel discussion presented by the Northern Police Monitoring Project in Manchester, UK.
The panel discussion will take place Friday March 8, 2019.
Dr. Choudry will also be attending the launch of his new book: Activists and the Surveillance State: Learning from Repression on March 11, 2019 at the University of Westminster.
The Education Curriculum Resources Centre (ECRC) located on the first floor of the Education Building is now open to the 看片视频 community.
Permanent reserves will be moved back to the ECRC the first week of February.
Please note that all Education course reserves are located in the Humanities and Social Sciences Library and can be moved to the ECRC upon request for the winter 2019 semester.

A recent gathering organized by the Faculty of Education鈥檚 Dr. Claudia Mitchell brought together voices from around the world to examine and eliminate gender-based violence.
Over the first week of July, the 看片视频 International Institute of Education (MIIE) hosted 23 high school students from Maple Leaf Educational Systems (MLES) in China for its inaugural MIIE Student Summer Academy.
The Faculty of Education will be undertaking major renovation work in the former Education Library space where the Education Curriculum Resources Centre (ECRC) is located. The work is slated to begin Monday, June 18听and will continue throughout Summer and Fall 2018. Unfortunately, the nature of the work makes it impossible for the ECRC to remain open throughout the construction. As a result, the ECRC will be temporarily closed starting Saturday, June 16听until the end of the work.

Deborah Maia de Lima and Lou Sheppard will join 看片视频's Faculty of Education as Artists-in-Residence for the 2018-19 academic year. The news was recently announced by听the P. Lantz Initiative for Excellence in Education and the Arts.听

Over the course of the Winter 2018 and Summer 2018 semesters the Education Collection, currently housed on the second floor the Humanties and Social Sciences Library, will be integrated into the main Humanities and Social Sciences Collection in the McLennan Library Building. This project will increase the visibility and browsability of the Education Collection and will create space for over 100 new study seats.

The fall 2017 edition of听Dialogues, the biannual newsletter of the听Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology (ECP),听has been published and may be听viewed online here (.pdf).
In an airy open area at the back of the first floor of the former library of the Faculty Education is a colourful space filled with art supplies and work tables. Along the wall there are bins and boxes of fabric, coloured pencils and paints, sketch pads, paper, and all manner of recycled objects, ready to be remade into anything the visitor desires. In partnership with the Hong Kong-based WYNG foundation, the Faculty of Education at 看片视频 University and Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) recently participated in another successful Visiting Scholars Exchange Program. For the first part of the exchange, the Faculty of Education warmly welcomed Assistant Professor听Dr. Kei Yan Poon, from the Department of Special Education and Counselling, and Associate Professor听Dr. Ian Bun Chun Lam from the Department of Early Childhood Education.
