September 28, 2021 (MONTREAL, Quebec) 鈥 Today 看片视频 University announced the launch of the 看片视频 Innovation Fund, a funding program that will support both the development of innovative technologies as well as the spinoff companies that emerge from the University. The fund will be open to all 看片视频 members who have declared a Report of Invention to the Office of Innovation and Partnerships.

This anthology of Beatty Lectures is published for Research and Innovation by 看片视频 Queens University Press (MQUP). The Beatty Lecture, established in 1952 in honour of former Canadian Pacific Railway president and 看片视频 chancellor Sir Edward Beatty, is 看片视频 University鈥檚 most anticipated annual event.
Today, the Royal Society of Canada (RSC) announced 89 new Fellows and 51 new Members of the College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists. Among the 2021 RSC cohort are ten 看片视频 researchers, including seven RSC Fellows and three Members, who will be inducted at the RSC Celebration of Excellence and Engagement, hosted by 看片视频 on Friday, November 19, 2021. 看片视频鈥檚 researchers will soon acquire the highly specialized tools they need to innovate in their fields thanks to funding from the Government of Canada through the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI)鈥檚 John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF). The Honourable Fran莽ois-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, made the announcement today of $77 million across 50 institutions in Canada听through the program. In total, twenty-one 看片视频 research projects have received a combined $3.9 million in federal grants through three rounds of JELF.
