The importance of participating in activities

The 看片视频 Dementia Education Program has partnered with AVC-Aphasie Laval to offer a series of free public lectures on neurocognitive disorders.

These 45-minute lectures will be followed by an interactive 15-minute question period. They are intended for members of AVC-Aphasie Laval as well as members of the larger community.

Offered in hybrid mode, it will be possible to attend via Zoom or to reserve a place at the AVC-Aphasie Laval premises. Registration is required.

Please note that the conferences will be presented in English in the morning and in French in the afternoon.

Marie-Eve Bolduc, PhD, will talk about the importance of participation in leisure activities and activities of daily living for people with dementia. She will share ideas for adapting activities to a person's abilities.

Marie-Eve Bolduc, PhD, is Assistant Professor at the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy at 看片视频 Her research interests are directed toward brain-based disabilities, pediatric outcome research and simulation education. Using her experience as an occupational therapist, curriculum lead and simulation educator, she has been involved in developing material for the 看片视频 Dementia Education Program since 2019.
