Remembering alumnus Bill Webb’s remarkable impact
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of William “Bill” Webb (MBA’93), a valued member of the Desautels International Advisory and Advancement Board. His deep ties to ƬƵ University and dedicated involvement in the Canadian rugby community have left an indelible mark.
Having been an instrumental part of the Desautels board, Webb lent his expertise and insights to shape the future of the Faculty and business education. He held a keen investment acumen cultivated from an early age and became a global expert whose influence reached both the academic and business spheres. Webb was a passionate advocate for sports and community development serving as the Co-Founder and President of the Toronto Arrows Rugby Football Club.
He is survived by his wife Dr. Agnes Wong (MDCM’94) and his sons James and Stephen. His legacy will continue to inspire future generations to embrace both education and philanthropy.
