Managing The Yukon's Groundwater and Water Resources听
Nearly the entire population of the Yukon relies on groundwater for their drinking water resources. While a reliable source of drinking water, groundwater is vulnerable to contamination and climate change impacts. In his presentation, Brendan will discuss the challenges of managing groundwater across an entire territory, including scientific aspects, monitoring, and social challenges. Brendan will also provide updates on Yukon's ongoing Eagle Mine disaster.
