Dr. Guy Rouleau receives award

Dr. Rouleau, who leads HBHL research in neurodegenerative disorders, recognized for outstanding contributions in the field of neuropsychopharmacology

The Neuro’s Director, Dr. Guy Rouleau, received the 2019 Heinz Lehmann Award from the Canadian College of Neuropsychopharmacology (CCNP). Named after the internationally recognized Canadian pioneer in psychiatric clinical investigation, the award recognizes “outstanding contributions and distinguished career by a single individual in the field of research in neuropsychopharmacology in Canada.”

“I am pleased to receive this award and grateful to the CCNP for this recognition,” says Dr. Rouleau. “It’s an honour to be included among so many distinguished candidates and previous award winners.”

As 2019 awardee, Dr. Rouleau delivered the Heinz Lehmann Award lecture, Exploring the genetic basis of neurodevelopmental disorders, at the Annual Meeting of the CCNP in Montreal on June 12.
