HBHL Symposium 2022 showcases innovative research
On May 19 and 20, Healthy Brains, Healthy Lives (HBHL) welcomed over 150 attendees to the first HBHL Symposium since 2019. Held at the Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre at the Neuro (Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital), the HBHL Symposium 2022 featured two days of talks and networking opportunities.
The Symposium highlighted accomplishments across HBHL funding programs through presentations from 35 HBHL-funded principal investigators, including talks from eight HBHL New Recruits, as well as PIs from HBHL's International Partnerships Program, Core Facilities and Technology Development Program, and ¿´Æ¬ÊÓƵ-Western Collaboration Grant Program.
HBHL's international collaborative efforts were showcased through presentations from principal investigators involved in two standout projects with German partners — the Helmholtz International BigBrain Analytics and Learning Laboratory (HIBALL) and the ¿´Æ¬ÊÓƵ-Douglas-Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry International Collaborative Initiative in Adversity and Mental Health.
HBHL thanks all of the participants, volunteers and sponsors for their contributions to the success of this event.
