About the speaker:
Fariha Naqvi-Mohamed was born and raised in Montreal where she is now raising her own family as a Mom of two. Fariha is the editor and founder of CanadianMomEh.com, an op-ed columnist with the Montreal Gazette, a social media maven, and a Video Journalist for City News Montreal. Fariha is the host of an award-winning segment entitled Diverse City. City News and Fariha Naqvi-Mohamed have made history as Fariha is the first woman in history to wear the hijab on Quebec television.
Fariha is a passionate ambassador for diversity and building bridges between communities.

Part of the "My Neighbour鈥檚 Faith" series of visits to religious organizations and sacred sites around Montreal to learn about different faith traditions. After the services, students are invited to gather and debrief. Through exposure, dialogue and experiential learning, students who participate in these visits become better equipped to live harmoniously in a pluralistic society.
