Dr. Grizenko is an Associate Professor of psychiatry at 看片视频 University and Medical Director of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute. She is also Medical Director of the Severe Disruptive Behaviour Disorders Program and ADHD Clinic at the Douglas. She is active as a clinician, researcher, teacher, and administrator. Dr. Grizenko has conducted research in day treatment effectiveness, risk and protective factors in children, effectiveness of social skills training pharmacogenetics of ADHD (with R. Joober, MD, PhD), and prenatal/postnatal risk factors for ADHD, including maternal stress during pregnancy and obstetricial complications. A particular interest of hers is gene-environment interaction in the development of psychopathology. Dr. Grizenko has received (as PI or co-PI) over 50 grants and has supervised 93 psychiatry residents, medical research students, and master鈥檚 and PhD students. She has published 60 papers and book chapters and has written two books.
