Abstract:聽Since 2009, the CBRAIN Platform has provided a neuroinformatics platform for advancing scientific research computing in neuroscience making Canada one of the leading countries in the world in this field. The goals of the CBRAIN Platform are very much in line with the strategic goals of Compute Canada: providing state-of-the-art research computing to scientists, providing a platform that allows scientists to engage in "big data" computing, and enabling larger more complex science through simplifying the execution of pipelines on computational resources. CBRAIN gives Canada a global lead in neuroinformatics, the interface between information technology and neuroscience. First funded by , CBRAIN provides researchers with transparent web access to the national HPC infrastructure (). An overview of the platform will be discussed and some examples the neuroinformatics that has been accomplished provided.
