Teaching prizes

The Leo Yaffe Award for Excellence in Teaching

Nomination deadline: 28 March 2024

Established in 1982, the annual Leo Yaffe Award recognizes superior teaching at the undergraduate level in the Faculty of Science. Members of the Faculty of Science and other academic staff who teach Faculty of Science courses and whose departments confer degrees in the Faculty of Science are eligible for the award. The recipient is presented with a scroll and a monetary award at the June convocation ceremony.

The President's Prize for Excellence in Teaching, established to recognize excellence in teaching and its importance to the academic experience of students at ¿´Æ¬ÊÓƵ University, is traditionally awarded at Fall Convocation at the Course Lecturer, Faculty Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Full Professor ranks.
