Overview

History : This course will study the Low Countries from their unification under the Valois Dukes of Burgundy until Holland's "Golden Age" in the 17th century. Topics include: relations with France and England during the Valois period; the Burgundian court; the Reformation; the Dutch Revolt; Dutch economy and culture.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2010-2011 academic year.
