Overview

Animal Science : An advanced graduate course to give training and experience in statistical techniques applied to quantitative genetics and animal breeding. To consider aspects of data handling of large data sets (100,000 observations), checks for consistency and connectedness in data. Considerations in choosing efficient analytical procedures in fitting these models and development of efficient numerical algorithms to apply these procedures.
