Overview

Business : This course explores the rules and regulations affecting condominium management, such as the Security Code, Home Warranty, tax rules, city bylaws, fee recovery, labor law and corporate law as applied to condominiums. In addition, the rules of professional conduct and ethics for condominium managers and directors will be discussed. Students will integrate the knowledge acquired in both Condominium Law in Quebec and Condominium Law II courses by applying it to practical cases from jurisprudence and their own professional experience.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2016-2017 academic year.

  • Prerequisite(s): CBUS 103

  • 30 hours in class plus approximately 10 hours of readings & assignments.
