Overview

Neurology and Neurosurgery : During this two-week course, students will develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to diagnose and treat patients with common neurological problems. Students will also gain an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of the various health professionals involved in the treatment of neurological patients, and an appreciation for how these individuals work together as a team to provide effective and efficient care. In addition, students will have opportunities to discuss the various integral roles of a physician, as defined by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada’s CanMEDS framework.
