Program Requirements

Dans le marché d'aujourd'hui, les frontières ne constituent plus un obstacle au commerce. En effet, les entreprises les plus performantes opèrent sur les marchés mondiaux. Les entreprises doivent donc développer une compréhension de la façon dont les différences culturelles, l'étiquette des affaires, et les différences politiques et sociales affectent la façon dont les affaires sont menées. Ces développements ont à leur tour conduit à une demande accrue pour l'éducation commerciale internationale et pour les titres de compétences qui sont reconnus et appréciés dans le monde entier.
Ce programme est conçu pour permettre aux étudiants d'apprendre à faire des affaires avec et dans d'autres pays dont les pratiques locales peuvent différer sensiblement des pratiques nationales.
Les étudiants étudieront également le marketing global, la comptabilité financière et managériale, la tarification et les canaux de distribution, les relations commerciales internationales, les facteurs clés à considérer lors de l'entrée sur les marchés étrangers, et les pratiques de communication pour développer des stratégies commerciales optimales. Students have the opportunity to learn how the Canadian Import-Export Act may be applied and to understand customs procedures.
