Développement international : Examines how disasters shape and are shaped by socio-economic conditions, inequalities and development processes through interdisciplinary investigation and a wide range of case studies. Analyzes disaster risk reduction, response and recovery efforts from the global to local levels, as well as survivors’ perspectives and experiences.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Instructors: There are no professors associated with this course for the 2024-2025 academic year.

  • Prerequisite: A 200 or 300 level course related to International Development, or permission of instructor.

  • Restriction: Not open to students who have taken INTD 397 when topic was "Disasters and Development" [fall 2018]. Opento U2 and U3 students only.
