My research focuses on the optimization of medical imaging utilization, particularly for musculoskeletal oncological surveillance, to provide the highest value for patient care and ensure an appropriate use of healthcare resources.Â
Natalia Gorelik is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at ¿´Æ¬ÊÓƵ She completed medical school and radiology residency training at ¿´Æ¬ÊÓƵ University, followed by a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship at NYU Langone Medical Center, and a Master of Public Health degree at Johns Hopkins University. Her areas of research interest include musculoskeletal imaging with a focus on oncology, clinical applications of artificial intelligence in radiology, as well as health services and outcomes research. She has received several awards for her research work, including a Best Paper award at the Society of Skeletal Radiology Annual Meeting 2019. She is also the recipient of the Association of University Radiologists GE Radiology Research Academic Fellowship (AUR-GERRAF) Award grant for a research program on the optimization of the surveillance algorithm for soft tissue sarcomas using comparative effectiveness techniques.Â
