The St. Andrews/McEuen Scholarship Foundation Chair in Canadian-Scottish Studies is associated with a variety of initiatives thatÌýsupport undergraduate and graduate students working in theÌýarea of Canadian-Scottish history.
These opportunitiesÌýincludeÌýinternshipsÌýfor undergraduate studentsÌýoffered through the Arts Internship Office.ÌýEvery year, several "Canadian-Scottish internships" are hosted by Scottish cultural organizations. To date, internships have been hosted by the Black Watch Museum and Archives, the St. Andrew's Society of Montreal,Ìýthe 78th Fraser Highlanders, Jardins de Métis / Reford Gardens.ÌýThese paid internships offerÌýthe opportunity to gainÌýwork experience in historical research and public history.Ìý
Support for graduate studentsÌýin HistoryÌýis available through the Ian and Helgi Soutar Fund in Canadian-Scottish Studies,Ìýthe John Green-Armytage Travel Award, and research assistantships and scholarships offered through the Chair.ÌýÌýÌý
