On April 17th, the Faculty hosted an inaugural Toronto Networking Panel event. The event focused on connecting alumni through generations and honing in on how to successful grow and develop throughout ones career.
"Rarely are invaluable personal experiences shared in this format"
The evening was held at the very chic Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Toronto. It began with a cocktail and the main event followed, featuring Drs. Joanna Lamberts, DMD’12, Anthony Mair, DDS’87, and Leo Gerzuk, DDS’73, in conversation with Dean Allison answering challenging questions about crafting a career in their fields of Dentistry. “Rarely are invaluable personal experiences shared in this format,” said one attendee, who loved the Q & A.
Topics such as key mentors, qualities of good business partners, staffing and HR management tools were discussed in an open and engaging format, replete with audience participation. The post-event feedback was excellent. A huge thank you to all of those involved to make the event a success, include our volunteers, our guest speakers and experts, and our sponsors.

With the transition many young dentists go through early on in their careers, we know how easy it is to fall off the bandwagon!
