The 2024 DOM High Value Healthcare Symposium has concluded! We extend our gratitude to all the speakers and presenters for their invaluable contributions. A special recognition goes to our keynote speakers, Dr. Ronen Loebstein and Dr. Saul Blecker. A heartfelt thank you to Alexandra Hauck for her outstanding organization of the event and to the Quality Improvement Committee members: Dr. Emily McDonald, Dr. Samuel Mamane, Dr. Maral Koolian, Dr. Arielle Mendel and Dr. Saman Ahmad.
The event was well attended with over 120 participants who joined us. We appreciate everyone who attended and engaged in the insightful discussions on leveraging electronic health data to improve the quality of patient care.
Congratulations to Jillian Kifell for winning the Abstract Slam with her work on "Measuring Family Engagement in Intensive Care: Validation of the FAME Tool!"

The Dr. Sharon Wood-Dauphinee Lectureship Award was presented for the first time, recognizing a visiting lecturer at the Department of Medicine High Value Healthcare Symposium who exemplifies outstanding leadership in quality of care through collaborative and interdisciplinary research that has improved patient outcomes and established new standards for excellence in high value care. Congratulations toÌýDr. Ronen Loebstein, our keynote speaker, for being the inaugural recipient of this prestigious award.
Thanks to the Dauphinee family's donation, this award and lectureship series will continue to honor leaders in high-value healthcare annually.
