Project description
As BMU teams rely on in-depth knowledge combining AI algorithms and neuroscience, it is sometimes difficult to adequately present the wide-ranging results of their measurement tools and make clients’ data more intelligible to allow a gain of autonomy for the users. Thus, BMU needed clever and eloquent ways of translating complex data into graphical representations and KPIs that can easily be understood and used by their clients. To achieve this, the final solution built was a dashboard of 8 pages that contains personalized filters, content comparison and relevant insights.
Pain Points
- Adequately presenting the wide-ranging results produced by BMU’s measurement tools can sometimes be very challenging and the company does not have a lot of expertise in terms of UX/UI practices and professional dashboarding
- Need to make BMU clients’ data more intelligible to allow a gain of autonomy for users. In order to do so BMU needs clever and eloquent ways of translating complex data into graphical representations and KPIs that can easily be understood and used by their clients
Data Inputs
To build the solution with real data, BMU Labs provided EEG results from a project with one of its clients in the financial and insurance industry

- A proof of concept dashboard that is easy for BMU’s clients to understand and use and ready for BMU to replicate using Python libraries on their online analytics platform to ensure that their client’s data is not at risk
- Eight-page dashboard containing personalized filters, content comparison and relevant insights

We also need to make clients’ data more intelligible to allow a gain of autonomy for the users. In order to do so Léa's work has enabled us to provide clever and eloquent ways of translating complex data into graphical representations and KPIs that can easily be understood and used by our clients. The entire process of collaboration between our company and the ¿´Æ¬ÊÓƵ teams and the student was optimal so that everyone came out on top of this end-of-program mission. This project brought the acquired knowledge and material learned during the year to reality. It gives the opportunity to apply new skills to real-life problems and acquire more professional experience.
Direct collaboration with the Client makes the whole project more exciting. As student consultant, we are owning the project and have many responsibilities. This is also a great opportunity to connect and build a relationship with passionate and smart people who are keen to collaborate.
The client always did his best to facilitate the process and was involved closely in the project. Understanding the data was challenging since it required knowledge in Neuroscience I did not have. Thereby, BMU’s team spent several hours explaining the data until I was confident enough to work on it by myself.
The clients acted as mentors, providing both guidance, autonomy and constructive feedback. I could not have asked for a better team to work on the project with.
