Biography: 

Dr. Taha Azad is an Assistant Professor at the Université de Sherbrooke, specializing in RNA therapeutics, oncolytic viruses, and biosensor development. His research focuses on developing innovative RNA-based therapies, particularly for cancer treatment. Dr. Azad’s expertise extends to the stabilization and application of self-amplifying RNA (saRNA) technologies and exploring their potential in combinatorial therapies with oncolytic viruses. His laboratory aims to push the boundaries of RNA therapeutics, particularly in combating infectious diseases and advancing cancer treatments.
