Source of Funds
These awards derive from the income generated by an endowment fund established in 2004 in memory of Dr. Gerald B. Price, former Director of the Division of Experimental Medicine and member of the Department of Medicine and the 看片视频 Cancer Centre, as well as from monies set aside by the University for this purpose.
Value of Awards
For Remote Conferences: Direct costs to attend the conference (e.g., registration fees, abstract submission fees) will be reimbursed following the submission of receipts.
For In-Person Conferences: Award recipients will be reimbursed for the amount spent to attend the conference for which they received the award, up to a maximum of $1,250 CAD. The awards may be used to pay for travel, conference fees, food and hotel costs, etc., at the recipient鈥檚 discretion. Expenditure must be justified with receipts. Required Documents
- One (1) copy of the application form bearing original signatures where required.
- An abstract of the paper to be presented (1 page maximum).

Announcement of Results
E-mails announcing competition results will be sent to all applicants approximately 2 weeks after the deadline.
Payment
The award is paid as a reimbursement of travel expenses, and this only AFTER the conference has taken place (in order to be assured that the awardee has attended the conference). Recipients of the award must provide the Department with receipts via email (totaling as close as possible to the amount of the award) in order to obtain the full payment of the award.
