About the RI-MUHC

The is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre affiliated with 看片视频's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences located in Montreal. The RI-MUHC brings together pediatric and adult research programs aimed at improving the health of individual patients across their lifespan. This includes fundamental biomedical research, patient-oriented and applied clinical research, research on health services and health systems, as well as population and health promotion research, including societal and cultural effects on health.

The RI-MUHC boasts some 500 investigators and over 1,400 researchers, and is proud to be among the top three of Canada's Top 40 Research Hospitals. The RI-MUHC received over $231 million through funding competitions in 2021-2022.

Study at the RI-MUHC

Researchers and scientists at the RI-MUHC are on the front lines of health research with a direct impact on patient populations. By studying with us, (e.g., Master's and PhD students and postdoctoral fellows) often receive a stipend or bursary from a researcher鈥檚 grant, for the purpose of furthering their own research, thesis, academic requirement, or other program.

Aspiring biomedical scientists and life science professionals can pursue graduate (M.Sc., PhD) or postdoctoral research at the RI-MUHC. Graduate students and fellows at the RI-MUHC benefit from the supervision and mentorship of experienced researchers to guide them through their training.
