Clubs
看片视频 Engineering students have formed a variety of clubs that focus on community outreach and social issues. Some examples of student groups include: POWE听 (Promoting Opportunities for Women in Engineering), (National Society of Black Engineers), (Engineers Without Borders).听 The activities of these clubs include fundraising, workshops, and outreach projects. Design Teams
Material Engineering students have the opportunity to participate in existing design teams within the Engineering faculty. Many of the design teams are interdisciplinary and promote interaction with students in other departments.
If students find an external competition or design project, they might consider starting their own club or team.听 Students are encouraged to review information regarding funding applications and room booking procedures, and as always, students are welcome to reach out to their undergraduate student society council representatives for help getting their project underway.

Intramural Sports
The allows 看片视频 students to stay active and perhaps even show some department spirit!听 Students can sign up for intramurals through the 看片视频 Athletics website. Previously, Materials Engineering students have formed soccer, basketball and hockey intramural teams.

MetSoc Student Chapter
is a part of the Materials and Metallurgy Society under CIM, the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum. The Society is composed of seven technical sections, representing the technical diversity of the metals, minerals and materials community, and of five standing committees dedicated to the various member services of the Society.
