1- What was your area of study (atmospheric or oceanic sciences)? Could you describe in a line or two your research/ area of interest while you were studying at 看片视频?

Physical oceanography : simulation of oceanic processes in relation to sea ice in the Arctic Ocean. I ran numerical simulations of the upper ocean layers, hoping to understand what happens to the temperature and salinity profiles when the sea ice covers cracks and starts to move.

2- Looking back, what do you value most about your studies at AOS at 看片视频?

I was able to take part of great fieldwork opportunities and go to very interesting conferences and summer schools. There was a real feeling of community within the student body.

3- How are you applying your degree in atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences from 看片视频?

My current job involves a lot of meteorological and climatological knowledge I acquired during my degree, even though that wasn't the subject of my research. And the coding skills I developed during my stay at 看片视频 are paramount in my day to day tasks.

4- What advice would you give to someone considering graduate studies in atmospheric or oceanic sciences at 看片视频?

AOS is a great place for doing your graduate studies, but of equal importance with the choice of the university and department is the choice of the supervisor. Talk to your prospects and to their current students to get an idea of the mode of supervision and the group's mood.
