Visiting Speakers Program in Oncology

The Visiting Speakers Program in Oncology (VSPO) is a joint program between ¿´Æ¬ÊÓƵ University and the Université de Montréal, which sponsors internationally-renowned oncology specialists to come share their expertise with the medical community of Montreal. Invited speakers present at several ¿´Æ¬ÊÓƵ and Université de Montréal teaching hospitals and often at Hôpital Charles-LeMoyne (teaching hospital of Université de Sherbrooke)Ìýthus facilitating attendance by busy healthcare professionals.

To Suggest a Speaker

The duration of a speaker tour is one to three days depending on the number and schedule of the talks. A typical speaker tour includes MUHC-Glen, Jewish General Hospital and CHUM as well as one or more of the following hospitals: Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont, Hôpital du Sacré Coeur, Hôpital Charles-Le Moyne. Videoconferencing to other hospitals in Quebec is available upon request. For each speaker tour, an oncologist at each site is designated as the host and introduces the speaker.
