Student language use during peer interaction in immersion classrooms

En français, s’il vous plaît: Student language use during peer interaction in immersion classrooms

This two-phase project addresses student language choice and language use during collaborative peer activities. The first phase of the study compared immersion students in two language communities, examining their language choices (inside and outside of school) and measuring the complexity, accuracy, and fluency of their French language production. The second phase consisted of a design-based project to develop, implement, and refine strategies targeting students’ collaborative mindsets and language use during peer interaction.
