The ¿´Æ¬ÊÓƵ TB Centre is a designated World Health Organization/Pan American Health Organization (WHO/PAHO)ÌýCollaborating Centre for Tuberculosis Research. Established in 2018, the WHO/PAHO Collaborating Centre is led by director Dick Menzies, a professor of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Occupational Health.

Terms of Reference
1. To provide technical assistance in low and middle income countries in the promotion and implementation of the WHO Global Action Framework for TB research (GAF), and provide input to improvements into the GAF based on periodic evaluations of progress in these countries.

2.ÌýIn collaboration with WHO, to provide technical assistance to low and middle income countries to build research capacity for tuberculosis and lung diseases.

- Short intensive training courses in TB research

3.ÌýTo assist WHO in the gathering and analysis of evidence to inform health policy and technical guidelines development in treatment and prevention of tuberculosis and lung diseases.

- Systematic reviews, aggregate data meta-analyses, and individual patient data meta-analyses in TB
- Economic analyses and modelling studies
