Why I joined the Lab
I joined the DataSphere Lab to gain practical experience in combining analytics and design thinking to solve real-world business challenges. The Lab鈥檚 focus on creating data-driven solutions for SMEs provided an ideal platform to apply my expertise in data visualization and analytics, honed during my Master of Management in Analytics (MMA) program at Desautels. I was particularly drawn to the Lab鈥檚 emphasis on collaboration and interdisciplinary innovation, which has accelerated my growth and enabled me to contribute to impactful outcomes.
My role in the Lab
At the DataSphere Lab, I am working on a project with a Montreal retailer, where I play a key role in developing and delivering dashboard solutions. The dashboard provides the client with a centralized platform to access historical sales data, monitor inventory health, and track KPI metrics. It also integrates the results of our demand forecasting model to guide future ordering decisions. By leveraging trend analysis, the dashboard supports strategic decision-making, such as tracking seasonal sales trends and analyzing sales during major events. This dashboard solution I developed is designed to enhance the client's operational efficiency and empower data-driven business strategies.
